Proceq, now incorporating the team and portfolio of Zehntner GmbH Testing Instruments, is moving ahead with an exciting program of 2018 launches in the non-destructive testing (NDT) and retroreflectometer space, new recruitment and expansion into high-tech business space.

Following the conclusion of Proceq’s acquisition of Zehntner GmbH Testing Instruments on January 1, 2018, the newly expanded organization – with its recently strengthened management team and new high tech space for Proceq Asia at Fusionopolis, Singapore – was successful in launching some important products and completed customer events during the first quarter of 2018.

As a highlight to radar technology users in the US, FCC (Federal Communications Commission) announced on April 18, 2018 that an approval has been granted for the brand new ultrawideband stepped frequency Proceq GPR Live. The GPR device was tested by the renowned testing and certification company SGS, and the results were filed with the FCC who issued approval and identification documentation. The FCC governs GPR in the USA.

This comes shortly after the Pundit Live Array and the Zehntner ZRM 6010 were launched at the World of Concrete and Intertraffic Amsterdam, respectively. In the upcoming days, Proceq will also release a backlog of 100s of pre-ordered Original Schmidt Live hammers. The new Pundit and Schmidt products represent a new generation of NDT products with Live data synchronization, real-time reporting and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) functions to expedite on-site inspection jobs for the global infrastructure industry. The ZRM 6010 is a first-of-its-kind portable retroreflectometer combining precise and robust data acquisition with the most comprehensive road marking measurements seen so far in the market. The team is exhibiting both Proceq and Zehntner products at the Control exhibition in Stuttgart, this week from 24 to 27 April.

Proceq CEO Dr. Ralph Mennicke said: “Our achievement is founded on the hard work of our teams over the past months, and we expect this year’s performance to be record-breaking. We are very pleased that the persistent work together with FCC as well as our product developments have helped add great new testing solutions to our customers’ options. The Proceq brand of innovation is running high, and our team has never been stronger.”

Dr. Ralph Mennicke, Proceq CEO, commented: “The Fusionopolis office is a strategic location for Proceq. The team is close to other Tectus Group companies working at the leading edge of technology and are also able to network with neighboring companies working in different sectors. By having our people in the right environment, the Proceq portfolio will benefit from a cross-fertilization of ideas. The potential is immense.”
